About The Artist

Alice Fazilian has won numerous awards as well as extensive press coverage. Her passion to create practical art objects led her combine a folk art tradition - embroidery - with a technique using contemporary acrylics to paint on textiles. As an outgrowth of her skill with painting on fabrics, Mrs. Fazilian also has developed a reputation for organizing charitable events using arts and crafts as a vehicle for fundraising.

She has exhibited her original paintings on textiles at exhibitions. Mrs. Fazilian has frequently participated in Signatures Craft Shows in Ottawa, Toronto and Quebec City.
